In the case of Taiwan, the visa waiver applies only to the holders of passports that include an identity card number. For the citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine the visa waiver applies only to the holders of biometric passports. Serbian citizens holding passports issued by the Serbian Coordination Directorate (in Serbian: Koordinaciona uprava) are excluded from the visa waiver. For nationals of the United Kingdom, the visa waiver for stays of up to 90 days also applies to the case of paid employment.

In order to apply for a Schengen visa, you will have to complete your application form for online through the special Italian software E-@pplication. Please have the following documents at hand before starting to complete the form:
Once you have filled-in your application form, make sure to sign it and print both the form and the barcode with your E-@pplication-encrypted data.
